The vegetarian recipe for ‘Fried Lotus Root Slices’:
- 1 or 250 g of lotus root (peel, slice)
- 1/2 cup of rice flour
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper powder
- Combine rice flour + water + all seasonings.
- Heat oil.
- Dip the lotus root slices in the batter (one by one).
- Fry until golden brown.
