The vegetarian recipe for ‘Fried Lotus Root Slices’:

Ingredients

  • 1 or 250 g of lotus root (peel, slice)
  • 1/2 cup of rice flour
  • 1/4 cup of water

Seasonings

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper powder

Method

  • Combine rice flour + water + all seasonings.
  • Heat oil.
  • Dip the lotus root slices in the batter (one by one).
  • Fry until golden brown.
  • Serve.
