  • 1 cup wholemeal flour (sieve)
  • 1 cup wheat flour (sieve)
  • 1/2 tsp instant dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil


  • 4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil


  • Combine all the dough ingredients.
  • Knead the dough until smooth and let it rest for 1 hour.
  • Roll out a rectangle dough and spread the vegetable oil on it.
  • Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon powder and sugar over the dough, then roll up the dough into a cylinder shape.
  • Cut the cylinder-shaped dough into small rolls.
  • Gently flatten the rolls and place it in a floured baking tray.
  • Let the rolls rest for 30 minutes.
  • Place the rolls into a pre-heated oven.
  • Bake at 160°C for about 30 minutes.
