Ginkgo Nut and Coix Seed Dessert Soup 白果薏米糖水

The vegan recipe for Ginkgo Nut and Coix Seed Dessert Soup:

servings – 6


  • 1 cup ginkgo nuts (break the shells and remove the cores)
  • 1 cup coix seeds/Job’s Tears (wash and soak in water for 1 hour)
  • 2 pieces of dried bean curd sheets (soak in water until soft and cut into sections)
  • 6 cups water


  • 5 tbsp sugar


  1. Place all the ingredients in a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
  3. Add sugar, stir well and ladle into dessert bowls.
  4. Enjoy!
