The vegetarian recipe for Coral Grass Dessert:

  • 1/2 cup coral grass/sea bird’s nest (soak in water until soft, wash and cut into sections)
  • 2 cups water
  • rock sugar or sugar to taste


  1. Place rock sugar and water in a pot and cook until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add coral grass and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Serve.
