The vegetarian recipe for Fried Bitter Gourds:
servings – 4
- 2 baby bitter gourds (cut into wide strips and remove the cores)
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- 1 tbsp wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Combine self-rising flour, wheat flour, salt and adequate water; stir to form a smooth batter.
- Coat the bitter gourds in the batter and fry until golden brown.
- Remove and drain.
- May serve with Vegetarian Sauce.
