The vegetarian recipe for Twinkle Twinkle Pumpkin Stars:

  • 1 cup pumpkin cubes (steam until soft and mash)
  • 1/2 cup roasted cashew nuts (grind)
  • 3 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. Combine pumpkin, wheat flour and salt.
  2. Flour a flat surface and flatten the pumpkin dough.
  3. Spread the ground cashew nuts on top and cut out pumpkin dough stars with a star-shape cutter.
  4. Heat oil and fry the pumpkin stars until golden brown.
  5. Dish out, drain and serve.
