The vegetarian recipe for Tofu Fillets:
servings – 4
- 200 g firm tofu (mash)
- 2 seaweed sheets (tear into small pieces)
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp white pepper powder
- Combine all the ingredients and seasonings; mix evenly and form into fillet shapes.
- Heat oil over medium heat and pan-fry the tofu fillets until golden brown.
- Dish out, drain and set on plates.
- May serve with plain yogurt.
