The vegetarian recipe for ‘Dried Chili Sauce’:


  • 1/2 kg of dried chilies (wash, simmer in hot water until soft, dish out and set aside)


  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar


  • Place cooked dried chilies + salt + sugar + water (adequate) into a blender.
  • Puree until smooth and fine.
  • Heat oil and gently pour the chili puree into the pan.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Dish out and serve.
