The vegetarian recipe for Simmered Potatoes with Molasses:

Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes (peel and cut into small cubes)
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Seasonings

  • adequate liquid molasses or dark soy sauce
  • 1/4 salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce

Method

  • Heat oil, simmer potatoes until half soft.
  • Add water and seasonings.
  • Simmer until the potatoes are completely soft.
