The vegetarian recipe for Simmered Potatoes with Molasses:
servings – 4 to 6
- 4 potatoes (peel and cut into small cubes)
- 1 1/2 cup water
- adequate liquid molasses or dark soy sauce
- 1/4 salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- Heat oil, simmer potatoes until half soft.
- Add water and seasonings.
- Simmer until the potatoes are completely soft.
- Serve with steamed asparagus.
