The vegetarian recipe for ‘Pan-Fried Tofu Slices with Torch Ginger Bud’:
Ingredients
- 1/2 loaf vegetarian fish/素食乌柳宜 su shi wu liu yu (slice)
- 10 bird’s eye chilies (dice)
- 1 torch ginger bud (dice)
- 1/2 cup water
Seasonings
- 1/2 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method
- Heat oil and pan-fry vegetarian fish until golden brown.
- Add bird’s eye chilies + torch ginger bud and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add vegetarian oyster sauce + sugar + salt + water, cover the pan and briefly simmer.
- Dish out and serve.
