The vegetarian recipe for Long Bean Rice:

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 6 long beans (trim the ends and slice)
  • 1/2 cup soya mince


  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper


  1. Heat oil, saute soya mince until fragrant, remove and set aside.
  2. In the pan, briefly saute long beans.
  3. Add rice, salt, soy sauce and ground black pepper; stir evenly.
  4. Add fried soya mince, mix evenly and stir-fry until fragrant.
  5. Dish out and serve.
