The vegetarian recipe for Blanched Asparagus With Grape Seed Oil and Lemon Juice:

  • 10 spears asparagus (trim and cut in half)
  • 2 tsp grape seed oil
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste


  1. Blanch asparagus spears in boiling water, remove, drain and set on a plate.
  2. Sprinkle over with grape seed oil, lemon juice, salt and ground black pepper.
  3. Serve.
