The vegetarian recipe for Clove Rice with Hash Browns:
- 3 cups rice (wash)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 20 cloves
- 2 tbsp fresh milk
- 400 g mini hash browns – suitable for vegetarians (fry)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- Heat oil and saute cloves until fragrant.
- Place cloves (and vegetable oil), cinnamon stick, turmeric powder, salt, fresh milk and water (adequate) in a rice cooker.
- Serve with fried hash browns and Cheese Sauce.
