Vegetarian Recipe: Seaweed with Tomato Soup


  • 4 stalks of celery (dice)
  • 1/2 yam bean (dice)
  • 1 carrot (dice)
  • 2 tomatoes (dice)
  • 1 piece of dried seaweed (tear into small pieces)
  • 1/2 cup of ready-made fried shiitake slices/香脆丝 xiang cui si (heat up 1/2 cup of oil, stir-fry and set aside)


  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon of vegetarian seasoning


  • Bring 1/2 pot of water to a boil.
  • Add diced celery + diced yam bean + diced carrot + diced tomato + seaweed pieces + stir-fried shiitake slices into the pot and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Lastly, add salt + vegetarian seasoning, briefly cook and serve.
