1 cup vegan snack
Ingredients
- 1 cup skinless dried broad beans (rinse)
- 2 tsp Sichuan chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- adequate vegetable oil
Method
- Soak the broad beans in water until soft (about 3 hours).
- Then rinse the beans again and drain off the water.
- Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat, fry the broad beans until crispy (about 15 minutes) and transfer them into a sieve to drain off the excess oil.
- In a big bowl, mix the Sichuan chili flakes and salt. Then, add the fried broad beans and mix evenly.
- When the beans cool off, place them in a jar for later serving.
