The vegetarian recipe for Flax Seed Pancakes:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/4 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp golden flax seeds (grind)
  • 3/4 cup fresh milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Seasonings

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp sugar

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir to combine all the ingredients and seasonings.
  2. Ladle 1/4 cup batter into a non-stick pan, pan-fry both sides over low heat until golden brown, remove and set aside.
  3. Repeat step 2 until all the batter is used up.
  4. Serve with honey.
