The vegetarian recipe for Green Papaya Salad:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg green papaya (peel, remove seeds and shred)
  • 3 tbsp white sesame seeds (saute without oil until fragrant)

Seasonings

  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp rice vinegar/apple cider vinegar

Method

  • Mix green papaya with sugar and salt; leave aside for 10 minutes.
  • Add vinegar, combine and leave aside for 1 hour.
  • Sprinkle white sesame seeds over and serve.
