Vegetarian Recipe: Potato Buttons


  • 2 potatoes (steam, peel, mash and set aside)
  • 8 cashew nuts
  • 3 tablespoons of glutinous rice flour


  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon of sugar


  • Combine mashed potato + glutinous rice flour + salt + sugar.
  • Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll them into rounds.
  • Then, insert a cashew nut into each round.
  • Fry until golden brown, dish out, drain and serve.
