Vegetarian Recipe: Bell Pepper Rice


  • 1 green bell pepper (cut into small cubes)
  • 1 red bell pepper (cut into small cubes)
  • 10 soya nuggets/vegetarian roasted chicken 素食香酥鸡 su shu xiang su ji (defrost and dice)
  • 4 shiitakes (soaked in the water until soft and dice)
  • 3 cups of rice (rinse)


  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon of vegetarian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce


  • Heat up 1 cup of oil, stir-fry diced shiitakes + soya nuggets.
  • Add rice + salt + vegetarian seasoning + soy sauce + 6 cups of water and briefly stir-fry.
  • Cover the pan and simmer over high heat until half absorbed.
  • Change to low heat and simmer until fully cooked.
