The vegetarian recipe for Celery Burgers:

Ingredients

  • 250 g celery stem (dice)
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup water

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Method

  • Combine celery stem, wheat flour, self-rising flour, water, salt and ground black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  • Form into rounds and coat with bread crumbs.
  • Heat oil and pan-fry until golden brown.
  • Serve with lemon juice.
