The vegetarian recipe for Butter Rice:

servings – 18 rice balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 4 slices ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups water

Method

  1. Heat butter and saute ginger until fragrant.
  2. Place the ginger plus butter, rice, water, nutritional yeast flakes and salt in a rice cooker.
  3. When the rice is ready, scoop out and let it cool down to warm.
  4. Form the rice into balls.
  5. May serve with Golden Spring Sticks.
