The vegetarian recipe for Fried Snow Mushrooms:

Ingredients

  • 2 snow mushroom/silver ear mushroom (soak in water until soft and cut into small pieces)
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp white sesame seeds

Seasonings

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper powder

Method

  1. Combine self-rising flour, white sesame seeds, salt, sugar, white pepper powder and some water.
  2. Stir well to form a frying paste.
  3. Coat the snow mushrooms in it and fry until golden brown.
  4. Dish out, drain and serve.
