Ingredients

  • 250 g yam (peel and cut into small cubes)
  • 6 red dates (remove the pits)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 5 cups water

Method

  1. Place yam, red dates and water in a pot.
  2. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and stir until it dissolves.
