The vegetarian recipe for Tofu Fillets:

Ingredients

  • 200 g firm tofu (mash)
  • 2 seaweed sheets (tear into small pieces)
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup water

Seasonings

  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp white pepper powder

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients and seasonings; mix evenly and form into fillet shapes.
  2. Heat oil over medium heat and pan-fry the tofu fillets until golden brown.
  3. Dish out, drain and set on plates.
  4. May serve with plain yogurt.
