Ingredients

  • 1/2 loaf of vegetarian fish/素食乌柳宜 su shi wu liu yu  (defrost and mince)
  • 5 turmeric leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of tapioca starch

Seasonings

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar

Method

  • Heat oil (1/2 cup) and stir-fry minced vegetarian fish + salt + curry powder + turmeric powder + sugar until fragrant.
  • Dish out and combine with tapioca starch.
  • Divide the filling into 5 portions.
  • Wrap each portion in a turmeric leaf.
  • Fasten the dumpling with a toothpick.
  • Put in a 180°c oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
  • Serve.
